Sunglasses Collection

It wasn't until a few years back when I got into sunglasses. I used to work at Sunglass Hut and I honestly didn't know much about eye protection until then. I would wear sunglasses here and there but I didn't now its a must. I'm thankful for that job and the knowledge I accumulated, but also for the tiny addiction I have for sunglasses. Here is my sunglass collection in order. 

When I began working at Sunglass Hut all I knew is that I was selling brand name eye wear. During my duration there I only bought one pair of sunglasses because at the time I did not see the point of wasting so much money on a pair of sunglasses not knowing if I was going to wear them frequently. So, the first pair I bought were the Ray-Ban Aviators in the size 62; which are the oversize aviators. I bought them in the brown gradient because I liked the concept of having gradient sunglasses. 

In April 2017, I got into Youtube very heavily and I discovered a Youtuber name Desi Perkins and she had a collaboration with Quay Austrailia and name her sunglasses, "High Key." Off the bat, I fell in love with them, so when she came out with the High Key; Sahara Collection I knew I wanted a pair. My second pair is Quay Australia x Desi Perkins the High Keys: Sahara Collection and I did a review on these pair of sunglasses here.  In that review I talked about how I did originally wanted them in a different color, but I settled with the black frame and orange/yellow gradient. & no regrets since.  

I bought my third pair, when I began working again at Sunglass Hut. When it comes to sunglasses I always have a hard time finding a pair that suits me. Majority of sunglasses sit on my face because I have big cheeks. So, when I found these pair I was in love because I loved every detail about them. My third pair is from Gucci in the style GG0022S. I refer to them as my first babies because it was my first luxury brand I've ever owned. They are in a light turtle brown frame with grey lens.

My fourth AND my favorite pair is as well Gucci in the style GG0010S. They are an all black frame with grey lens. When shipment came that day, I put them on hold right away. The reason why they are my favorite is because they sit on my face perfectly and they are dark glasses overall. The way I see it is like the perfectly little black dress/bag but these are sunglasses. To be honest they are my go to because they go with everything. Best purchase of 2017. 

Working at Sunglass Hut with bad influence co-workers is how I got my fifth pair of sunglasses. It was holiday season and my mother asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I mentioned that I liked a pair of Versace sunglasses and well Christmas came and so did my fifth pair of sunglasses.  They are Versace in the style VE2181; they are black matte frames and grey lens. My favorite part about them is that they are rimless and the bar on top.  [Disclaimer: We are not rich nor am I spoiled that my parent's buy me everything. It was Christmas time and she said I deserved it, Thank You]

So this is where things went bad. Sometime last year, I was showing Magz the new sunglasses Quay Australia x Desi Perkins had came out with and well I am a person with no self control. I was on the website and I didn't know which ones to get, so I got three pairs of sunglasses: Quay Australia x Desi Perkins the High Key; 6). black frames with silver lens; 7). black frames with olive lens; and 8). black frames with purple/pink gradient lens. 

Since my last purchase I realized that I went a little crazy buying three pair of sunglasses all at once, but I love every single pair. I think they're all different in their own way and some I feel are statement sunglasses. And I have a feeling I will be growing my collection this year. ;) But I do hope after reading that you do not think of me as a "brand whore," okay bye.
